Aerial Photos of Rivers and Flats by Marine Ventures Foundation Aerial Photo Experts Balloon Photography

Welcome to the MVF aerial photo bank; a publicly accessible, permanent visual record of our aerial photography work. Our first project spans the seventy two mile stretch of the Henry’s Fork section of the Snake River.  The thousands of images contained within the database are designed to establish a photographic ecosystem baseline. As time passes, the rivers and the surrounding environments we have captured will inevitably undergo changes.  The purpose of the photo bank is to provide information to help understand change, better inform decision-makers and encourage the best possible management of our ecosystems.  The images can be accessed using either of the methods described below.

1)  The Google Maps interface below shows a flight path with seven icons along the Henry's Fork from Henry's Lake to the confluence with the Snake.  Clicking an icon will display links to another map with photos from the downstream stretch of river.

2) The links on the right side of the page will allow you to navigate the available photos by searching keywords or browsing through a series of folders sorted by location and date.
